Normeca AS received an order from Ministry of Finance in Saudi-Arabia through our local agent for two complete mobile hospitals based in expandable MultiSpace semi trailers. The contract also includes trailers and all medical equipment.

Each hospital contains of 7 MultiSpace semi trailers that will be connected together to make a complete and well equipped hospital. Each hospital contains: reception for male and female, 2 examinations rooms, laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray, sterilization, ER, operating theatre, ICU with 12 beds in addition to 12 beds wards. There are also toilets and showers as well as doctor’s rest room. Because of the big production, 7 of the trailers will be manufactured by our partner in Holland and the other 7 will be manufactured by our partner in Denmark.
Before delivery the installation of medical equipment and training will be in Norway.

The first hospital was to be delivered in Saudi-Arabia before November 22. 2008. 
The second hospital is to be delivered in Saudi-Arabia within March 20. 2009.

The first hospital went by road from Oslo to Saudi Arabia and November 7th and arrived safely in Saudi-Arabia November 19th.
