First week of December, NORMECA AS shipped a tent-based mobile hospital for preparedness in Latin-America.

As part of an agreement, NORMECA AS will be required to send personnel within 24 hours after a natural disaster or similar in the area, to establish the hospital, train local personnel etc.

The mobile hospital is established using tents and consists of Triage/Reception, Operation Theatre, ICU with 6 beds, X-ray, Lab, Nursing, Eye department and a bed post with 22 beds. In addition, the hospital is equipped with kitchen and dining room and has all necessary water and power supply, showers and toilets etc.
