Normeca AS is sending
Mobile Hospital/Clinic
to Sumatra in Indonesia

During the last year, NORMECA as one of the leading provider of field hospitals and related equipment, has on behalf of Japanese Red Cross stored and maintained two mobile field hospitals, one in Japan at Narita Airport and one at NORMECA AS warehouse in Norway.

Sunday January 2, 2005 a mobile hospital/clinic left Narita Airport by air to Sumatra in Indonesia. It it expected that the mobile hospital/clinic will be fully operational within 48 hours depending on local conditions upon arrival.

It is not the first task NORMECA AS takes on for the Japanese Red Cross. NORMECA AS has also assisted regarding the earthquake in India, Afghanistan and Iran earlier.
